SMHP Tier 2 Certification

The Tier Two Certification for the Size Matters Handwriting Program® discusses the unique features and administration of SMHP screener and assessment tools, including the Point of View Survey and the Printing and Writing Competency Intake, as well as progress monitoring. At the end of this Size Matters Handwriting Program® course, participants will be able to:

• Evaluate, score, and interpret screening, assessment, and progress monitoring findings.
• Develop, compose, and defend implications for treatment and follow-up in response to information learned from a handwriting screener.
• Develop, compose, and defend implications for treatment and follow-up in response to information learned from a comprehensive handwriting assessment.

Participants in our handwriting specialist certification course receive a Handbook, the entire Data Collection valued at $295.00+, and detailed instructions for completing the Tier Two Certification Project in the mail. Participants have six months to complete all parts of the project. Within six weeks of submission of an accurate, professional, and instructive write-up of all parts of the project, participants will receive their Certificate, earning 0.7 CEUs.

Completion of the course also automatically makes you eligible to become a Real OT Solutions® affiliate. Learn what it means to be an affiliate here. Satisfactory completion of this course automatically qualifies you to become a Certified SMHP Instructor.  The Instructor tier includes personal mentorship from Dr. Bev and the opportunity to teach 1-3 hour SMHP courses, as you will receive the entire slide deck used in the webinar series. Under her umbrella as an approved provider of continuing education, you could issue CEUs and earn income.
