Day One Webinar

At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

• Cite handwriting research and SMHP evidence
• Identify & explain Key Concepts
• Summarize strategies for using SMHP in various settings
• Reference supportive SMHP therapy materials
• Discuss accommodations for students with learning differences or sensory issues
• Describe data collections, including scoring Size and Space, Screening, Assessment, goal writing & Progress Monitoring

Participants will be mailed a Handbook and lab materials and emailed a list of additional materials to have handy. There is also a shipping cost that is not included in the price. The schedule includes two 15-minute breaks and a 1-hour lunch break.

Day Two Webinar

At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

• Analyze/discuss SMHP concepts/strategies to use with existing curriculum, phonics-based literacy programs, Pilot Study, tiered interventions/teletherapy, Handwriting Clubs, Centers, or home programs.
• Identify/explain objectives/goals/strategies/concepts for different settings.
• Examine and summarize the implementation of SMHP in Special Education or Resource rooms, in regular education classrooms, and in Year Two
• Compute scores for handwriting samples prioritize an action plan, goals, carry over, follow up strategies, and construct a presentation of findings.
• Develop and present SMHP scope, accommodations, and priorities for different learners with varying educational or learning classifications.

Participants are mailed a Handbook, lab materials & FREE SMHP materials: Student Workbook, Desktop Stickers, Therapist Manual & Alphatrangle, plus Scoring Kit ( $200+ Value). PREREQUISITE: Participation in Tier One SMHP Therapist/Teacher Certification webinar ( Day Two) requires successful completion of one of the following:

• SMHP 3 Part Self-Study Webinar Series (available through realOTsolutions.com)
• Proven and Practical Strategies to Teach and Remediate Handwriting (available through ber.org)
